Children’s Dentist
Children's Dental
At Bayside Family Dental, we take a proactive approach to your child’s dental care. We pride ourselves on providing a comfortable, fun environment, where yourself and your child will feel at ease. We endeavour to make your child’s experience, interactive and fun, as much as possible at our child-friendly family dental practice.
All our staff are friendly, caring and kind, many are parents themselves which assists us greatly in understanding and working with children. We ensure that children of all ages feel safe, and at ease whether it is for a general exam or more complex procedures.
We recommend taking your child along with you for your general dental visits, to establish confidence in our practice and team. By the age of one we recommend to take a “peek“ and definitely by the maximum age of two. This will get them used to the idea of visiting a children’s dental practice and give the dentist/oral health therrapist an opportunity to teach parents and children about good oral hygiene.
At the conclusion of your child’s dental visit they will enjoy receiving our Oral Hygiene Show Bag which includes; a brand new toothbrush and toothpaste.
By making an appointment with our experienced team, you’re setting them on the path to a lifetime of great dental habits.
Just like a child needs to learn to read and write from a young age, so too should they learn to brush and care for their teeth. Regular check-ups with a children’s dentist/hygienist can provide the following benefits:
» Exam- to monitor tooth growth of deciduous and permanent teeth
» Developing good dental habits
» Check for spacing of permanent teeth and occlusion
» Detect early warning signs of abnormal development
» To develop confidence with dental check-ups
Every child is rewarded with a show-bag, stickers and a toothbrush to take home. By making an appointment with our experienced dental team early in your child’s life, your child will be on the road to developing a lifetime of good dental behaviours.
